    Yes, we certainly did miss out on a debate. I saw very little in the press anywhere and, in Ontario, all focus was on the election. All parties seemed to talk of little but economic issues – important but not, I think, as crucial as basic citizenship. Perhaps people won’t realize what has happened until it affects them personally, if they should suddenly find out they are “second class citizens” by way of this legislation.
